Anyone else having this problem?
It happens on different computers, so it's not my own computer doing it.
I'll click on a page number, and get a message something like "Internet
Explorer could not connect to this...blah, blah, blah"
then you have to click OK, and back up a few pages.
I think this is one of the inconveniences while alterations are underway.
YES YES YES. And the links at the top of the page to "Your posts" and "New posts" disappear and make navigating the site very difficult. You have to keep hitting the "Back" button, which is a colossal drag if you've just gone eight or nine pages deep following a topic.

are you all using IE
if so
drop it, i use Firefox, and the most i've had to deal with was one (1) of those php critical error things about two days ago
It is an issue with the ad server.
Here are 2 workarounds.
1) For multi-page topics, just click "post reply", even if you're not going to reply. Then read, just below the reply the box. That gives you most of the preceding page. If you want to read farther back than that, the second-to-last, third-to-last, etc. pages usually work just fine.
2) For single-page topics, go to the appropriate forum and select the topic one older than the one you want to go to, then click "View next topic", which is in the upper right corner. If you don't get to the topic you want, it's because a featured topic intervened. Just click "View next topic" again until you get there.
Another workaround I've found is to change the start number
blah blah...t=103717&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=120
change the 120 to 129 or 119 to see the blocked page.
