fascinating read. Not what I was expecting at all. Not sure what I think about it yet. But I am not quite done.

That is a priceless Cathy cartoon, ehBeth! Their porch strangely resembles my living room.

A wonderful wonderful read. The tale of the 20th century America, especially Boston. it's nice to be reading it now as i'm leaving, i'm glad i can still catch glimpses of what the book is about around me. sigh. really, excellent book.

Hinge - that's so cool!

I have a few books going. For Noddy I am rereading Larry Niven books. I have read the "Convergent Series" and am reading "Limits".

I also recently finished "Tell Me Where it Hurts" by veterinary doctor Nick Trout. If you love pets, you should read this tear jerker and feel-good novel.

Man this is tough going. Fascinating as a car crash. Only knowing that, as a true story, the author survives is keeping me going. You can read more about it here.

I finished that too, and since I am an agnostic, I am a bit disappointed in
such a fairy tale description.
On the other hand, this book would give some consolation to all those
poor souls who have lost a child in such tragic manner.

I'd like to say something high-brow by, say, Patrick White, but the truth is I just finished "Fearless Fourteen" by Janet Evanovich. Got to like a book that makes you chuckle.

Catching up on National Geographics right now. I'm 4 behind. Then, I think it will be "The Idiot" or "WOLVES OF THE CALLA: The Dark Tower V".

After reading plenty of Harlen Coben mysteries....my summer fun and time out for brain stuff, I started "Dark Side" by Jane Mayer of The New Yorker. This book is for those who want to know...not those who choose not to know!
