Able2Know was moved from the .com address to the .org address in preparation for the launch of the future version of A2K (no, it's not imminent). For now, .com is redirecting it's traffic to .org but it's important to update your bookmarks and any links you may have elsewhere on the internet (I'm noticing links in personal sites, blogs, and user profiles elsewhere) so please so so.

Here is the correct url:

http://www.able2know.org/

He is, by the way, talking about any external links you have, such as on blogs, MySpace profiles or the like, which link to A2K. Thanks.

Question. (I hear all your little hamster feet scurrying for the nearest exit. Come back. I just wanna do the right thing.)

So able2know has switched from .com to .org. I clicked on the new link and got here. But when I start with a clean page (AOL) and enter "a" in the address bar, the .com address continues to appear. How do I get rid of that so that I get the .org address? Or doesn't it matter?

Question:

What is the new Amazon link?

I feel a fit of self-indulgence coming on.

Clearing your history should work. But if you just want to delete those some programs will do so if you use the down arrows to select them then hit your "Delete" button.

Craven querido, Can't tell you how grateful I am to receive your response. I can only imagine how busy you are. Problem is I don't understand what you're telling me.

1. I have a history? Where is it?
2. I wouldn't mind deleting some programs. Where are they listed?

(I hear you hamsters beating a hasty retreat. Cowards.)

I haven't used AOL in a while so I can't give you exact instructions, but your browser should have a "History" that you can clear.

But try this:

- Start typing able2..
-When you see the autofillresults, use your down arrow keyboard key to select an old able2know.com entry
- when that entry is highlighted press your delete button

Note that the above is mostly done just on the keyboard, using the mouse will probably navigate to the url and not give a chance to delete it.

Also note that none of this may work on AOL.

I've got the history off the work computer. Now to do the same at home.

I found a couple of .com links and fixed them. There may be others hanging about, but I've got no idea where.

Thanks, jes (brave soul).

Do I have to delete all the links? Don't want to do a universal delete; I'll lose other stuff. I should do this one at a time?

Oh, just delete the A2K ones. No need to disturb any links to cheetahsareverycoolanimals.com Smile

Done (I think.)

What was that thud? Jes, you conscious?

So I lost cheetahsareverycoolanimals.com. I'll find it again. All for a worthy cause. If I only knew what.

That's good news because I don't like the buttons at the top like that.
