I've just checked my adsl speed and it's running as it should, and yet navigating this site seems slow, is it just me or is this normal?
The server is very overloaded. I am in the process of purchasing a few new servers and am waiting for the RAM upgrade to be installed.
In other words: "this site is having technical difficulties. We ask that you please not notice."
It's jut you dude. Maybe a psychiatrist can help you deal with childhood issues to make you BELIEVE your server is running really fast. Maybe Zoloft or Xanax would help

Sometimes when I drink the Irish blackstuff the entire world seems to slow down, in hindsight, I'm sure that is the explanation for this phenomena.
Well, it's not just you. It's the server. But it's also not just the server. The data center has been having problems with their TWTC (Time Warner) uplink and have been trying to shift the load to their SBC and Allegiance uplinks.
The Allegiance uplink is being upgraded to an OC-12 connection but we will be moving to a new server and new datacenter shortly.
Pleased to know it is not just my system or myself.
