"Grey Eminence" of White House resigns to bear no responsibility for Poland


Karl Rove, the "grey eminence" of president George W. Bush, will resign from the administration effective by end of August. In this respect I would like to note that Karl Rove's resignation and current governmental crisis of Poland are links in the same chain strange though it may seem. Now I will explain why. The thing is that it was Karl Rove in person who induced Bush administration to consider hardline and thoroughgoing approach as the only possible way for the United States. Such approach became a tragedy of the US nation, exactly as it became tragedy for Poland that follows example of its Big Brother - the US. Nowadays, Poland is being torn apart by political collisions following the Kaczynski brothers' just as hardline and thoroughgoing policy. Perhaps, the Kaczynskis shouldn't have been so enthusiastic in patterning after American political model. Or it also could be that American political specialists forced it down on Poland. I think that it should be a lesson to other post-Soviet countries of Europe.
