It's pouring here today in west Michigan. We've had a very dry summer with most of the moisture staying south into Illinois and Indiana. The humidity has been kicking up and last night the skies opened up - and it continues today. This image will change over time so if you aren't looking at it on 8/7/07 you won't see what I'm talking about.

We had that in the last couple of days (I never really realized that Columbus is almost directly south of Detroit...). It's been way too dry and then we had a bunch of good soaking rain. My garden looks so much happier...
Now if only that will push north a bit - way too dry up there.
I'm sorry to see that Green Bay is still on the map.
