I just got back the meat from the first deer of the year that a friend gave to me. I had just gotten back from giving my daughter the hunters safety course, and she passed. As soon as I walked in the door after dropping her off at grandmoms. My buddy from the fishing club calls me up and tells me that he got a deer and to head over and help him skin it up. :wink:
We finished skinning and quartering it up faster than he thought we could in record time. One hour later it's on the back of my bike and headed for the butchers block here at home. Next day it's off to another friends that smokes the meat for me and now we have lots of deer jerky and plenty of steaks, along with 10 LBS. of burger. Wooohooo , God I love having friends that help me out of a jamb. Cause I sure feel Jambed up all over,
this back thing is giving me the hebegebe's.
