Well, I really didn't like it. People have asked "how was Cancun?" and I say I didn't really like it, they look at me like Shocked

I even disliked it so much I wouldn't go back. There were parts I did like and days I had fun. Maybe I didn't like it because I didn't want to go in the first place?

TTH, we've never been to Cancun, but people have told me that it is mostly kids who go there to party. We've been to several places in Mexico and of all of them we liked Ixtapa the best.

The regular party places like Margaritaville, Daddy O's, Pat O'briens and Coco Bongo did not get out of hand imo.

Ixtapa.....that brings back some fun memories. I don't think I have seen so many different police divisions, all armed btw, for a 4 block (just guessing on that) area. I wouldn't mind going back there just to see if Frank from Canada is still running his restaurant there.

We went back to Ixtapa a few years ago and it has changed quite a bit. A lot of the restaurants we liked from our earlier trips were gone, but then there were a bunch of new places to try.

I figured it wouldn't be the same if I went back. That is why I try to go somewhere different each time. However, every time I have been to Cabo I have so much fun (even though I got in trouble with the Mexican Police last time). They aren't very nice and I said some things I shouldn't have Embarrassed

We went to Cabo two years ago and we'll never go back. We liked everything about the area and we stayed at a great hotel. But every time you went out you had someone trying to sell you a timeshare. I had three guys try even before we got out of the airport. We would walk into town every day and in that mile or so walk there were at least 15 guys pushing timeshares.
