Good afternoon Izzie. I'm very happy that you are getting some snow. I guess that it could make your evening cummute a little messy. Other than that how are you doing today?

If you're going to build a snowman you'd better get to it.

Too late Unc - none left on my paddock Crying or Very sad - hobbled up to the moors but it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cold and then started hailing. Shocked

Me 'n my camera beat a hasty retreat back to the car. It did look very lovely though. Dartmoor, my moors - are so breathtaking - it is such a powerful place.

That sounds nice, except the cold part.
A section of the road I take to work runs along a river and the trees form a canopy over the road. This morning with the rain the trees were covered with a thin layer of ice, it was quite pretty.

Sounds lovely - we don't get too much ice like that - too warm (and grey) here.

Saw a few ice storms in Boston, MA when I lived there - that was something to see! Smile

Boston has been getting a lot of snow this year, but that's fairly normal for them.

That was a fab place to live - very "Anglified" (lol). The fall was the best time of year - lived in Harvard (up above Worcester) in the woods - it was amazing. Gosh - such a long time ago. A lifetime. Good memories tho. Used to ice-skate on frozen lakes. NEVER IN ENGLAND! Smile

I get up to Boston a few times a year on business, it's a great city. But I usually only get a couple hours of free time when I'm there. Most times I fly in, go to a meeting, back to the airport, grab a burger and fly back home. Sad

Lovely pic Izzie - we had snow a couple of weeks ago...we NEVER get it here. My kids were thrilled - look at them making snow angels in the grass! LMBO! Laughing so funny! We had a great time sledding down our hill though. DH and I had to take turns getting at the bottom in case they went across the street while a car was coming by!

I think so too...were you sick? I read in a couple of places where you weree not feeling well I thought. I just had what I think was either food poisoning ( by my own hand - embarrassingly enough) Or a stomach virus...horrid...

sounds like you are better - been glad to see you back! Very Happy
