Help Needed on Marlboro Contest V

Yes, he does fish and he takes Sadie with him. Sadie is a lucky dog

Not bad, except my dog woke me up real early by licking me
She knows she isn't suppose to lick me anymore unless I tell her she can

How do you teach your dog not to lick unless you want it to? It seems to be physically impossible for my dogs not to lick me at all...I can't teach them not to at all....the mouth licks are really disturbing to me I love my puppies but a lick in the mouth is - well - yuck.

Just saw this. My dog was constantly licking me. I tried all sorts of things to get her to stop. Finally I got some bitter apple and when she did it again I said "NO" and sprayed it in her mouth. The next time she went to lick me, all I had to say was NO and she stopped. Eventually, I put my face to hers and said "kiss" and when she would lick me I would praise her and give her a treat. Now I just praise her. I only give her treats sometimes during obedience training.....like when I have her on a long down.

TTH, it's just your dog's way of saying she loves you. :wink:
