Hard (alien) logic

An alien visited earth and left five tasks behind. "The Earthlings who can solve these tasks are most likely the ones to understand us.", the alien said. Logic is the only true universal language, so perhaps you can solve some and give an explanation how the logic works.

Task 1

Task 2

Task 3

Task 4

Task 5

I think I've almost figured one of them out!

In task 2 each row is a set.

The figures to the right only show one plane in 2D.
The middle figures only show two planes in 2D.
The figures to the left should all be in 3D. But I don't know how the missing figure would look like in 3D. Can anyone see it? And maybe draw it? And I don't know if the logic is ok, though the pattern seems to be observable.

The top row looks like three views of a regular octahedron.
The middle row looks like three views of a cube.
The bottom row looks like two views of a regular tetrahedron.

The missing view could be a triangle with angle bisectors that meet in the middle (top view of the tetrahedron).

In task 4, is it a coincidence that there's the following pattern:

2 single-lined figures
4 triangles
6 squares
8 circles

?

2, 4, 6, 8...doesn't feel like random.

When looking directly at two adjacent sides on a cube, as in the middle figure, won't the horizontal lines slant?

Task 1 - The correct answer is "Treasure Island"
Task 2 - Think 8,6,4 (You almost have it)

You might be on to something! But If you by "Treasure Island" mean a circle with a square inside of it, the answer is insufficient, since none is said about the colors.

And sure, there are 8 sides on an octahedron, 6 sides on a cube and 4 sides on a tetrahedron. But when looking at an octahedron directly from the side, shouldn't there be a horizontal line as well as the vertical one?

As mentioned above, you might be on to something! But it's really hard to tell if you don't have a more detailed logical explanation.
