Born in New York City, I was soon whisked off to Rutland Vermont and then back to New York and then back to Rutland and then back to New York....I guess you can see the pattern here. After I got to the point of choice I decided to live in Rutland and only moved away twice when life took some odd turns once ending up in Washington (Pennsylvania) and the other time back in New York City.
I do not drive a motorized vehicle, am in no way related to the motorcycle Sturgis stuff that most people have heard of...although I do find most of the burly bikers rather attractive in a strange way. These days I am retired, living a quiet life, I ride my bicycle a fair amount, use mostly wood as heating fuel, (I do have a standby system for really cold times) and enjoy football, baseball and long walks.
In addition to everything else; I am with the exception of my late brother-in-law, the only person anywhere in the family to vote Republican...(or at least to admit to it). It pisses me off no end when people tell me that as a gay white male I need to stick with the Democrats. I vote according to what I believe in and over the years this has meant crossing party lines...and for the record, if they had a stronger showing, I would register as a Conservative.
Biggest regret? Not sticking to it as a blacksmith...
Now that I have rambled on about mostly nothing I shall return to my regularly scheduled antics.
As of today...it's late August 2006...I am back in New York...
