Okay, so what have I been saying for years?

PLUTO IS NOT A PLANET!

Now it has been made official: READ

Oh, what sweet vindication! Don't let the door hit you on the way out, you goddamn rogue imposter. Ever since your discovery in 1930, your haughty and arrogant orbit has gone unchecked. But I knew all along, damnit, I knew. Now the truth has been exposed, and I can rest easy.

Bitch.

Let this be a lesson to you all. Don't pretend to be something you are not.

Yeah, that's right, Pluto should go to hell! He should never have left it in the first place! I have always wondered why they named an icy lump of rock after the roman god of the underworld anyways...

I do wish you folks would show a little more respect for the sad demotion of my home planet. This is a very sad day for us Plutonians.

All cred to Wiki for being "on the ball"

Quote:
The solar system is the stellar system comprising the Sun and the retinue of celestial objects gravitationally bound to it: currently eight official planets (according to the International Astronomical Union) and their 162 known moons,[1] as well as dwarf planets, asteroids, meteoroids, planetoids, comets, and interplanetary dust. From 1930 to 2006 there were nine official planets, but Pluto's status was changed to that of a "dwarf planet" on August 24, 2006 by the IAU.

I'm gonna miss Pluto....... But, I agree with the designation and it's better to lose pluto than to gain another 12 planets.

It's a sentence. Us nine. The nine of us.

No it isn't, you cannot just randomly add an adjective that modifies a noun after a noun.

I didn't say it was grammatical.

Well a sentence is a grammatical thing.

But actually you've got me wondering now.

It seems structurally equivalent to:

"I like dogs nine"

which is not a sentence

but also to

"She likes us men"

which is certainly used as a sentence...I don't know the answer on this.

Pluto will always be a planet to me. They can drum it out of the family, but I will remain loyal.

Hey, Gargamel! When did you move?

You remain loyal to a LIE!

Let's see, I moved less than a month ago. It's good to be back on Lake Michigan shores.

Yeah except I got no AC in my third floor studio. I hate sweating in bed.

I am looking forward to the return of autumn, which I've missed for four years.
