This is the only song I know about Mark Twain and it's really about being a guager on a riverboat. - which gave Sam Clemens his nickname.

Morning all. Hope everyone's enjoying Advent. My son's "Gruffalo" Advent calendar had a picture of a pine cone today and a small chocolate Christmas pud.

A gentler heart did never sway in court.

On a personal level, today is the day I get shot of the 'tache grown for "Movember."

@Letty,
Why don't you re-launch it on a new thread so that the bumping issue goes away for a while.

Just a reminder to our contributors as we don't do the rating system any longer as it does not match our format.

Has anyone here noticed The British Two forum? They have to bump it up many times.

Neko, that was one funny oldie.
edgar, didn't know Harry did that Mark.

Olivier 5, Lovely French song. Sorry if I missed anyone.

tsar, What does ditto mean? Razz

Here's Michael doing a lovely one, y'all.

@Letty,
We should do a British no 3, then again we don't use it anyway near as often as this thread.

All you have to do is scroll down to the bottom of this page to Quick Links on the left click on start a discussion. Call it "WA2K Radio is now on the air 2" and you're done.

@Letty,
Hi Letty. You know I'm a big fan of this thread, but I think the reduction in traffic is linked with too many rules and too much bumping needed. Jo for instance left because of that. I think people want a simple place where they can play and hear music, with no hassle. There is no need to hold on to an old thread just for the sake of it.

My 2 cents anyway. I'll follow you always.

Too many rules? That has nothing to do with our radio station. Think for a moment about any radio station that you have been to or listened to. No one says Thumbs Up, right?

Someone started a radio II thread, and what did it accomplish? Nothing.

It is good to discuss things here, y'all. It's rather like a commentary.

Hope y'all liked Michael doing I'll Be Home for Christmas. I'll be right here and I hope my daughter will be as well.

How about some Irving now.

@Olivier5,
Well, Mon Ami. Tanya doing It's a Pity was great. Love the ethnicity as you know.

The rating system for me reminded me of Emily Dickinson:

Our poem for today

Emily Dickinson

A narrow fellow in the grass
Occasionally rides;
You may have met him, -did you not?
His notice sudden is.

The grass divides as with a comb,
A spotted shaft is seen;
And then it closes at your feet
And opens further on.

He likes a boggy acre,
A floor too cool for corn.
Yet when a child, and barefoot,
I more than once, at morn,

Have passed, I thought, a whip-lash
Unbraiding in the sun, -
When, stooping to secure it,
It wrinkled, and was gone.

Several of nature's people
I know, and they know me;
I feel for them a transport
Of cordiality;

But never met this fellow,
Attended or alone,
Without a tighter breathing,
And zero at the bone

Now, a great couple

As edgar knows, this song was originally done by The Uninvited, but this version by Johnny is fantastic.

Out of respect for you. This is your thread. Panzade started the Caption the Cartoon thread. And when he started part 2, everybody upped sticks and moved over. If you start a part 2 thread it will thrive.

Good morning from our Florida radio station.

Izz with a y, Loved both of your quotes, and for all of our listeners and contributors, an explanation of sorts.

I have trouble with this Windows 8 and starting a new radio would be quite difficult for me.

Two songs for the late morning here:

First, Hugh Laurie doing Mystery. (that is a proper title as the hoax of his death is just that)

Now, the mystery of Elvis being alive, reminded me of Teddy Bear:
