@edgarblythe,
What a surprise to find out that "the king" did that one, Texas. Maybe this will work for you as it has for me, dear friend.

Judy Collins
I can see clearly is still popular around her, letty.
Ah, my radio isn't working. Maybe it will tomorrow, y'all. Hope our edgar got Johnny Nash. Sorry that I can't acknowledge your song, Texas
Trying anyway to say goodnight with two songs.
First Van the Man.

From Letty with love but also frustration
Good to be back, Letty. Enjoyed two weeks in the West of Ireland, home of WB Yeats. Here's one of his early poems*; Down By The Salley Gardens.
Down by the salley gardens, my love and I did meet
She passed the salley gardens with little snow-white feet
She bid me to take love easy as the leaf grows on the tree;
But I, being young and foolish, with her would not agree.
In a field down by the river, my love and I did stand
And on my leaning shoulder she laid her snow-white hand.
She bid me to take life easy as the grass grows on the weir;
But I was young and foolish, and now am full of tears.
* I tried to upload a musical version, sung by John McCormack in 1941 and available on youtube, but my device will not allow me to do so, for some reason. Recommended listening for Romantics!).
A lot to be said for PC's. Here's John McCormack singing
Down By The Salley Gardens.

@lmur,
Ah, my Irish friend, so glad that you had a nice vacation. Hope euroGeorge is alright.
Love that Sally Garden by John, and here is one by him as well.

@edgarblythe,
Hey, Texas. Love Unchained Melody by Harry, and here's one by Ray to match:

Odd, y'all, I got a PM from someone that I didn't know, and here is what he/she wrote:
Uncanny:
I didn't want to post and ruin your station. That is in my top 3 list for most amazing things I have seen on the Internet. A forum radio station. It's 10 years old, 1500 pages long and still alive. I can't stop reading it. I hope this lives on for many more decades.
That Ray song came from one of his best albums.
This guy died the other day, at 77. He is a cousin or something to the actor George Hamilton.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks, Texas. Didn't know that one by that George. Thanks for the introduction.
Ah, I am concerned about JLNobody. He reminded me of Deano doing this one:

Once again, calling all musicians, painters, poets, and music lovers. Loved Take Me as I Am, edgar.
Today is this gal's birthday, but first some info:
