Friends deleting

My friend text to ask why he has been deleted from mine and my wife's seperate accounts. We have not done this and nothing in our activity log! To me it's a bit random that this friend would be the only person to go awol from 2 accounts even though my wife and I use separate devices for Facebook. Does this mean that we were deleted from his account at their end?
