I am trying to add two friends on FB, with one I have 15 friends in common and with the other one I have 5. Is only happening with this two friends, that the add friend button does not show up only the send a message one. About a month ago the add a friend button was available on both of them but last week was not available anymore. I noticed last week my facebook was updated. It is only happening with this two friends I want to add, but not to others. Why this could happened?.

It's their privacy settings. If you can message them, ask them to friend you. If not, then either go through an intermediary or call it quits.

But facesbook only have 2 options to restrict who can contact you, either everyone or friends of friend, . so can not be a private settings

Can you do as Jespah suggests - message them - and ask them to add you?

Yes I would, but I still wondering if there is anything else, becuase does not make any sense since there is not an issue with the privacy settings. I was wondering if there is something on my facebook after the update
