Facebook - newsfeed filter, by commenting status

I want to hide content on Facebook which has blocked me from commenting.

When friends like or comment on someone's post, this populates in my newsfeed. I can comment on my friends' posts but certain posts my friends post on will only allow me to share (or like) that post but I am not allowed to make a comment, I presume, unless I am a friend of a friend or a friend.

Is there a way to hide this one-way traffic using a tool or mod in Facebook? I have not had any luck searching for this...
