How about composers.

Composers of any type of music, with photo and/or sample of their music, and title of one of their works.

I'll start with...

Allen, Steve

Allen was known as a prolific composer, having penned over 10,000 songs.

Here's one of his hits, for which he wrote both the music and lyrics.

Aaron Copland (November 14, 1900 - December 2, 1990) was an American composer of concert and film music, as well as an accomplished pianist.

This is from one of his works--Rodeo

Edvard Hagerup Grieg-- (15 June 1843 - 4 September 1907) was a Norwegian composer and pianist who composed in the Romantic period. He is best known for his Piano Concerto in A minor and for his incidental music to Henrik Ibsen's play Peer Gynt.

Here is In the Hall of the Mountain King from the Peer Gynt suite.

(Franz) Joseph Haydn (March 31, 1732 - May 31, 1809) was one of the most prominent composers of the classical period, and is called by some the "Father of the Symphony" and "Father of the String Quartet".

Although Haydn is still often called "Franz Joseph Haydn", the composer did not use the name "Franz" during his lifetime and this misnomer is avoided by modern scholars and historians.

His most well-known piece is probably "Maple Leaf Rag", but here's my favorite:
