orange water again

Hello,I have a clearwater kinetico water softner system,I had a service man come out two weeks ago because we had orange water (hard water).He said he switched tanks tested the water then said i had soft water,charged me 68 dollars and left.He also said we may have had a change in our demand on the water and we have 3 ppl in our home instead or 4.Why do i have orange water again?Still have salt......
