My son is going to a public school in Lakemba, NSW, which I didn't find upto a good standard. More specifically the quality of teaching (& teachers) and in-house environment are not satisfactory, in my opinion. I have the flexibility to move out to any other suburb if necessary as my kid's education is the first priority to us. Can anyone help me by suggesting some name of primary schools that will expectedy provide quality eaducation particularly on academic side, so that in future, entering in the selective schools can be easier.

back in the good old days, the school next door to you was the feeder school for OC opportunity class for upper primary. wiley park ps.

let the kid find his own way, with a gentle nudge.

otherwise try tutoring if you must send him to a selective high school, especially if he's in year 5 or 6 and did not qualify for OC

what was it einstein said about genius?
