Hi. I always thought my goldfish was male until this morning when i changed its water, and saw a bunch of eggs everywhere. So obviously it's female; and it's in a bowl by itself, b/c i also have 2 other beta fish but separetely. Like betas, do goldfish release their eggs every so often, or what might have triggered my goldfish to lay/produce eggs? And what should I do?

Nothing, if you don't have a male goldfish to fertilize the eggs nothing is going to happen.

Doing nothing is a sound policy most of the time.
