A few months ago, I became the guardian of my little sister after our mom took off. In the few months I've had her, her nightmares have gone down and so has her bed wetting. She is a lot more confident, strong and happy. Here is where things get tricky. We are living in a transitional housing place. I have to pay rent and get food and stuff but I can't get jobs. I dropped out of high school to take care of her and when she is at school, I do sex work, sometimes when I can, I clean houses and walk dogs. But most of the money we live on is from sex work. She has no idea, she still thinks I'm in school, and no concept of money.
