Here are some of my beliefs. I am not quite sure if I am considered a Christian Existentialist or not. Maybe someone can help clarify this for me.

My name is Candy. I am new to this site. First of all, I want to ask that you not judge me or belittle me because of my beliefs. I am not quite sure where to start. My religious background is very diverse and quite complicated. I have always considered myself to be a Christian, but as of recently, I began to question what "religion" really fits my beliefs.

I started out attending a non-denominational church as a child ( about age 8 or 9) and was saved/baptized in that church. When we moved south a few years later, I attended a Baptist Church. Now, as an adult, I have certain beliefs and trying to figure out what category I fit into.

As someone else has stated before, I believe in God, but not the Bible. I believe that God created everything in this world and not in evolution. A person does not need to read the Bilble or go to church to pray/believe in God. I know that many things that are stated in the Bible have come true, but I don't believe that it's God's word. It's almost as if someone (i.e. a psychic) predicted these events and they came true. No one was around when God was around, so how does anyone know that is really what he said? I believe in karma-good things happen to those who do good and vice versa.

I also did a research paper on Soren Kierkegaard and Existentialism. I agree with many of those beliefs as well. Someone, please help me out.
I also wanted to add that everyone has their own interpretation of the Bible. Many of which interpret it to best suit their needs. I believe everything happens for a reason. God has a plan for us the moment we are created, so our final destiny has already been decided. It is our choice of how we get there. In my experience, most Christians ( I know I am generalizing, but again, this has been my experience) praise God when something good happens and blame the Devil when something bad happens.
I also believe in karma-good and bad and believe to experienced good karma personally. Thanks for reading, Candy
