Hi Lisbeth

I have the following answers, perhaps someone will verify:

3d = inkatha
45d = malabar
54d = hippocampus

and 110a = crake (this is one of Lovatts tricky questions) Smile

Hope this helps.

I believe he found it in the furthest recesses of his brain's temporal lobe.

Or posiibly, an online dictionary. You can never be sure with Dutchy.

Hi Lisbeth

To answer your query, as lmur suggested I found it in the furthest recesses of my brain's temporal lobe where it has been stored since my University days. Laughing

"Hippocampus" is a curved ridge of tissue in each cerebral hemisphere of the brain, concerned with basic drives, emotions, and short-term memory and forming part of the limbic system.

Oh yes, it is also a mythological sea creature with the head and forelegs of a horse and the tail of a fish. That's all I can remember.

btw. You can also find all of the above facts in the Encarta Concise English Dictionary in my personal library.

Hope this helps. Have a nice day.

Dutchy.

Well done Francis, I didn't know you could read Dutch too, just goes to show how clever the French and the Dutch are. Laughing

Thanks for that Francis, I've read through the thread but was disappointed that nobody mentioned my favourite childhood book "Sjors van de rebellen club". Laughing
