Hi,
This is my first try. Could you check my scanning in the first stanza (I separated each foot by a vertical line):
Robert Frost - In a Disused Graveyard
x / x / x / x /
The li|ving come | with gra|ssy tread
x / x / x / x /
To read| the grave|stones on | the hill;
x / x / x / x /
The grave|yard draws| the li|ving still,
x / x / x / x /
But ne|ver a|ny more| the dead.
And it's a iambic tetrameter?
is it ok?
Thanks
It's been a long time since I did this, but mostly it seems good, from what I remember, tho I think the second line could also be:
To read the grave stones on the hill
x / x / / x x /
with the third foot / x instead of x/
oh well, it didn't format it the way I was trying to do it: "stones" and "hill" are stressed, "on the" are both unstressed.
