What is the best way to get a snake to come out of hiding? A couple of days ago, apparently, my cat sat on top of my snake cage and she got out. I have no idea where she could be, it could be anywhere. I am worried because she hasn't eaten in over a week and has been without water for a few days. If she isn't hiding anywhere then the worst possible senario is that she was eaten by my cat or dog but there are no traces of her anywhere. Another possible place is that she is under the carpet or something and if that is the case she may have been stepped on and could be dead. I have been trying to lure her out at night since she is nocturnal with pinkies on the ground but no such luck.
bowl of milk?
i have no idea, perhaps it's just a yet another slovak superstition, but my grandma would always leave a small bowl of milk for snakes. they should like it for some reason.
what kind of a snake is it? i presume a small one, not a giant cobra or anacondda.
What makes you think the snake is still in the house?
gus has a power saw that should take care of that snake....he'll send him right to racoon heaven.
I had a roommate in college that had a boa constrictor named shroeder.
Once I came home and the other girls were acting weird about me showing up. I got them to admit shroeder had escaped and they found him in my bed. The bed I never made and would usually just toss my body onto when I first got in.
Another time the f*cker got out and left the room. I didn't know it and when I shut the door the last bit of his tail was in the door. Apparantly he put on quite a show for the people on the other side of the door.
I hated that snake. I hope it's dead.
I will cut it into little pieces.
And then..... I will laugh.
tastes just like chicken.
She is very small milksnake, an apricot pueblan milksnake.
I hope you'll find her, kitkat.
Maybe the snake is not in the house anymore
yep milk is the go.
a saucer of milk with bread soaking in it.
You may need several, around the house and outside.
