colossus cryptic 110
Haven't got anything for 37d yet and for 32a I have two only because a duo is two. Am open to anyone elses opinion.
Hi Julksy & Tuesday
53a = teeny
32a = two
37d = emanate.
All the others submitted by you Tuesday are the same as I have.
Good luck ladies.
Colossus 110 cryptic
Thanks for that Dutchy. What do you have
for 79a?. I have e?c?i. 66d Invader, 52d self service,67d open air. Think I've gone wrong somewhere but have completed the rest.
Hi Tuesday
For 79a I have 'ennui' - 66d 'invader' - 52d 'selfserving' 67d 'openair.
I think you went wrong with 52d. Hope this helps.
Dutchy
ps: did you get my message I went for "velarized"?
Colossus 110 cryptic
Thanks for that Dutchy I was thinking it could be selfserving while I was waiting for your reply. YES I did get the message about velarized, I don't think I'm ever going to forget that word :wink:
Dutchy......Can you teach me how you got 'two' for 32A?
I decided on 'too'
I found this one very tricky and couldn't figure out if the clue was in 'duo' or 'also'.....I have no idea what the 'announced' part of the clue means.
Hi julksy
I can't help you because I made a 'typo' in my answer to you.
Glad you ask the question otherwise I wouldn't have noticed. "too" is correct.
