perhaps we aspiring gawd-awful writers here on a2k could have our own version of "twisted cheese" worst imaginary novel beginnings?

Dys, that's a great idea!

Start the thread under original writing? I bet there would be a tremendous response and quite a respite from the heavier topics...

Upon reflection, margo, you are right in a way. There are heavier topics but after a couple of serious posts, they do disintegrate into personal attacks and ignoring certain people and so that kinda defeats the purpose of trying to really discuss anything serious at all...so, grab your popcorn, sit back, don't take any of it to heart (as timber always says, it's just pixels!)... So, Dys' idea is at least honest, ie something intended to be laughable which I guess would be a respite from some of the more hateful posters vs. the supposedly 'heavier' topics!

So, got your popcorn?

dys--
Over there, are we supposed to start with "It was a dark and stormy night"--or any such dubious opening?

"twisty Velveeta?" Isn't that a non-sequitor?
