Turns out, I owe the last 2 payments to an individual, who was supposed to be a friend. I had to spend some unexpected money on my wife's operation, making me late on paying. He had a wrecker take it. Instead of giving me a chance to make it up, I have reason to believe he took it to Louisiana and sold it that same day.

So, I guess this means no compensation, since it wasn't stolen?

This sucks, bud. This happens 2 payments before it's paid? Sheesh! No warning?

Once you've borrowed (or lent) the money, they're no longer a friend.

email when I got home:
personal belongings: put out in a box outside my gate on may 9th @ 12:30 pm.

I replied, "I can't be there at that time. Would the Saturday after the ninth, at the same time of day be agreeable?"

So far, no response.

Find out where the lien holder lives and I'll come down and take care of him. I'm pretty good on the revenge thing. I'll have it towed and repaired to a place far, far away from where DILDO lives. Laughing

I just emailed the guy:

Okay, I have found transportation to pick up my belongings tomorrow. I will be there.

I want to take this opportunity to tell you that I am not mad at you any more. Life is too sweet to waste through anger and hatred. What is that object, but a truck? Not worth losing sleep over. I hope you will have a good and happy life, and not act too harshly toward your fellow humans, in the future. I forgive you. If you have any bad thoughts of me, I hope you can be Christian enough to let them go. Good-by. The three years we worked together will always be in my heart.

I threw in the Christian crap, because he claims to be a prophet, after the mold of the Biblical prophets.

My hat is off to you , edgar. You set a fine example. And I must apologize too, because I thought you were making a joke about all of this at first.

Did he have any legal right to take the truck? I mean, regardless of the fact that it's arrogant and rude and heartless... isn't it also illegal? How does the title's owner fit into this? Will you now have to pay him for the truck?

People act so stupidly sometimes. Sorry you were at the receiving end.

I have a few grounds for possibly getting the truck back. But, it's not yet clear to my lawyer if it is worth persuing. He would have to assure me it's a slam dunk deal for me to go on with it.
