I've also totally forgotten Osama bin Laden but I do remember George W Bush's speech "You run but you can't hide"

I also remember his memorable statement, "Fool me once, shame- - Fool, fool me twice, ah - ah; aw, skip it."

Put food on your family, dys. Make the pie higher. You'll remember 9/11 after a good meal and some pie.

Can you top this? I got breast cancer on 9/11, the date of the needle biopsy. Hospital in an uproar, people clumped around tv sets, my gyno having a friend who worked in one of the buildings..

The thing we all need to remember is, " Is our children learning?"

Joke all you want, but I doubt that I'll ever forget 9/11. If I had decided to fly from BOS to LAX on the 11th instead of the 9th, I would have been on one of the two flights that crashed into the WTC. Same flight, just two days earlier. I was at the Marriott Hotel in Newport Beach, CA that morning, getting fressed for the day ahead when the news from NYC came on the news. Talk about suddenly feeling numb.

Who has time to remember 9/11. There is all that shopping that must be done in order to defeat the terrorists.

Merry! I was in Venice that morning (known to some as Marina del Rey), staying at an old neighbor's house. He woke me up, get up, get up, come see this... What, about 6:30 a.m.?

Glad you weren't on the plane, obviously.

None of the jokes were aimed at what happened that day. I don't think any line was crossed. I am happy for you that you were not among the victims.

No one in their right mind thinks that those who were joshing in this thread would do anything to denigrate the memory of that day.
