I'm a combo type 4 (10 pts) and type 7 (11 pts) intuitive, reserved, enthusiastic and productive. I didn't know which to add to the poll, but intuited that the most productive way to seem enthusiastic about it was to be reserved. I didn't vote.
Great answers everyone.
Phoenix, confess you scored highest on 5 (or I'll confess I mispredicted you).
ebeth, good Lord, you hardly do qualify. It'd be a 6. This is the type of result I expected Phoenix to get.
Debacle, your type number is the one with the highest score. Like ebeth got 10 points as a 5. Not that she's a 10.
Piffka, lol. That's quite "4" of you. 4's and 7's are known for their humor (acid, in 4's, open in 7's).
patiodog, you're right, she sent me this strange looking cigarettes from Down Under...
fbaezer- I think that I got a 7 on #5. The other two I got 5 each.
Excuse me, fbaezer, but I think i rather AM a 10 - just ask Setanta (this is one question he'd better get the answer to!)
I've spent decades trying to hide my 5-ness. It keeps sneaking out though.
It is fun a test fb I always mom always said know thy self.
I came out with a Type 5 though I never really thought of myself as a particularly deep thinker (I do like to analyze everything though, so maybe that qualifies). Most of the rest of mine were negative numbers which is, perhaps, a statement of something (though I haven't thought about what).
I took both tests as I thought it was worded icky as well
New Test:
Highest was Type 5: the Thinker, got a 9
then Type 2: The Helper, got a 5
Funny though got a -5 on Type 9...The peacemaker...
bit contradictory...or am I a very unaccommodating thoughtful caretaker?
Other Test:
Mostly 4 & 6's cross the board
But, then again, I score INFJ on MB on most counts, E on others
Im just a mess...lol
Bandylu, if you got mostly negative numbers, it only says you're more clearly a 5. It doesn't necessarily mean you are deep, but rather that your personal reactions are more those of a "brain" person than those of a "heart" or a "guts" person.
quinn1, I guess it should be difficult to get high points in 5, and high points in 9. One of the characteristics of the "Peacemaker" is that s/he can agree simultaneously with differing points of view, to prevent conflict. I suppose it's hard for a 5 to do that.
My 2 highest scores were as a helper and an intuitive artistic type.
Stick with the highest score; if they're tied, look at the descriptions and see what's more fit to your personality.
My test (new) came out like this:
-11
1
1
-1
9
0
-1
10
-7
I don't know what to make of this. Looks a little wacky. Oh well, if worse comes to worst, I'll move to Aussie land and live with the rest of the wacko's.
This is fun. My highest score was for type 9, the peacemaker, then 6, the motivator, followed by 5, the thinker. They fit, I really can't stand conflict and the other two are typical of me.
<in my best Arnold Schwartzenager>
I am a reformer
pueo - I think you're a reformer too - your highest score was in the type 5 category, right?
oops, sorry pueo - you're a thinker
my highest score (10) was for type 9.... Peacemaker.
my lowest score (-12) was for type 6.... Skeptic.
I got a Zero for type 5.... Thinker.... LOL.... I'm a non-thinker!!!!
This was fun, fbaezer..... thanks!!
I don't really go for these things as a rule, but what the heck.
My Test Results:
REHTI / New Test
Type 1: The Reformer 5/2
Type 2: The Helper 4/0
Type 3: The Motivator 5/5
Type 4: The Artist 1/-1
Type 5: The Thinker 6/3
Type 6: The Skeptic 2/-5
Type 7: The Generalist 6/5
Type 8: The Leader 5/5
Type 9: The Peacemaker 2/-6
I appear to be neither particularly well focused nor very consistent, if perhaps a bit pushy. I'll buy that, though I think I'm pretty artistic and quite the skeptic. I don't agree at all with their definition of either attribute. But then, I didn't study for these tests ... that could be the problem.

Timber, your skepticism may have tainted your results.....?

Ahhh, Maybe, but I doubt it!

Aw shucks, thanks. Craven helped me into it.
