from 'the book of poems'

the drifted plums,seven tenth left in the trees
the boys,pursue me girl at my flowerlike ages

the drifted plums,three tenth left in the trees
the boys,chase me girl at once

the drifted plums,filled in the boxs
the boys,be after me in coming HUI Days*

*HUI Days,the ancient chinese holidays in which boys and girls in one area come together singing and dancing in open places for choosing their mr/mrs right,romanticly in sping.

It took me some time to realize what "The Book of Poems" is. It was a book which is extremely difficult (rife with ancient words and ancient imagery), yet which always held up to me as some mysteriously bygone beauty.
