I don't know how many letters the word is supposed to have but I'm going to guess the answer is "roadie".

The submission "roadie" by Boomerang is the answer.
When you post again, always include the length of the word and the letters you already have. e.g. 'r?ad?e', that helps a lot because not everybody here gets the Lovatts magazines.
