Living and working in Ireland?

Dear all;

I work in the gulf at the moment, but the life here is, thought rich, its not comfortable in terms of social life. I'm thinking of moving to Ireland, I have relatives that would help me there.

I work as a mechanical engineer.

So from your experience guys, do you think living and working in Ireland as a mechanical engineer is a good idea? How's life over there in Ireland? what about the work opportunities? unemployment rates? environment? society? and a lot more about this country which I'm planning to move to. I'm just looking for your advice on wether its a good move or not, pros and cons.

Thank you!
