Not my story but a good one.

Seven train
early morning
jammed packed.
makes a stop and MORE people squeeze on.
Impossible to move a hand or a foot.
You don't have to hang onto to anything because you cannot fall.
Doors close.
Train does not move.
All is quiet for a moment then
from somewhere down the car
comes a voice singing....

"Getting to know you...."

I have spelled like garlic before - I have to watch how much I use because I love the stuff and the smell will come out my pores. Yes you guessed it I have Italien ancestory.

But I must also smell like cheap beer rather than perfume as I also have some Irish blood.

I do remember the smell of my friend's home. Her dad escaped from Lithuania as a young man and there were all sorts of horrible smells at their house. He liked all this sticky stuff.

Because of I didn't like the sticky smells, does that make me a Lithuania racist?

Which might explain why different people smell different, although I would be highly suspect of a racial thing and think it more likely that what food you consume may alter the chemistry of your skin odour. Just like gran said.

Exactly- but that's kind of a racial or cultural thing as people of the same race, nationality, or religious affiliation tend to eat similar foods. Alot of these old wive's tales are based in reality or are factually significant.

Scent is supposedly the most heightened sensual link to memory. I think that's because it's so specific to culture.

Snookered- you have a really nice turn of phrase. I like the title of this topic- "Pale white girl smells like milk"- it drew me in though I had no idea what it would be about initally, and I also like the phrase you used in your first post: "you intelligent bunch of lies".
Along with that poetic turn of phrase you also seem to exhibit explosive and controversial viewpoints. Maybe you should try your hand at writing...

That's marginally more socially acceptable than smelling like ****- so you should be alright.

I don't know if that's true-but if it is-that's nice-I think. By the way, what does honeydew smell like? (Or did you mean honeysuckle?)

I thought honeysuckle sounded a little obscene.

Not at all. My old address in the US was on Honeysuckle Road. And it did smell really, really nice in the spring rains.

*I don't want to assume or stereotype anyone as being a typical anything (male) , but tell the truth- you really thought honeydew was the name of the flower, didn't you?
