So direct your anger towards the government but not the people here, snookered. None of us are responsible for your bad choices in life.
Deal with it!

I quess that you didn't get my response. Basically, The Draft was re-activated for Vietnam. One with think you would know that. At least check facts that would show your ignorance while trying to disprove me. Your not sharp enough.

Snookered, you are on a roll of expressing anger. Since you think I'm a ho/whore, I'm sure you won't accept advice from me. But I wish you well.

Your still stuck on the fan thing. You think I would be causing this madness if I wanted a fan? I wish you well also.

Ragman, I was petulant - but got over it - during the great quote-a-thon, which, after all, may live in memory for the architectural quote play more than the rest of this thread, really, spontaneous art....

we'll get back to real talk.

Meanwhile, I have to go back and check how many new ways I've been insulted, and I have to bond with my new boyfriend Bill.

Let him get it out of his system. The government failed these people,
they're mad and angry. Unfortunately, there is very little one can do now.

One has choices in life, some take lemons and make lemonade out of
it, others take the acidity and become self destructive.

One does have choices. I could have hidden in Canada. But the majority were DRAFTED and the majority went to into the Army knowing that Vietnam was the next stop.
Most people probably like you hasn't had to make a difficult choice in their life.

I want to talk about Sharpton and Jackson. Or open that up. As might seem usual, I don't know what I think right this minute. (I do know what I think, oft times, though I'm known for this and then that murmurs. Though pretty clear in my own mind, I can be open to information. That may be true here too, we'll see.)

I voted for Jesse once, in a primary. I've often frowned at Sharpton, early on, pal now of Bloomberg, who and which interests me a bit.

I know they are media madmen, but, past that, where is the good, and the silly, or worse, about them. Should I make that a new thread, or try to settle this one down to discussing them here as background and relative to this episode of mediamania?

Never mind, I'll start a new thread in the morning. I want to hear about other oldies, like Julian Bond, and the new generations of leaders as well.

You can post what you want to post. It is considerate to try and tame us down.
If you voted for Jess Jackson and now like Bloomberg, you may as well not vote.
I hate the fact that Ralph Nader always runs as an Independent. He takes Votes away from Democrates.
I also don't understand the popularity of Rudy Giuliani. All he did during 9/11 is walk dow the street holding a mask to his face. The highest position he held in the Federal level is Asst. States Attorney. He did reduce crime in NY.
All I know is that I'm Democrat and will vote Democrat. But John Mcain would be considered by me on the Republican side.

Sorry...I'm assuming where I said if you vote for Jesse Jackson or Bloomberg you may as well not vote. You don't see the truth in that? Jesse has not a chance even to be nominated, Bloomberg not a chance. I didn't leap to a conclusion. I didn't start thinking about this today you know.
Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton is more than just a wisp of a word.
You started the post, I reponded and your critical.
Why didn't you engage with your thoughts?

Don't worry about me, snookered, I am not the one who is embarrassing
myself, and no, I have not been around for the Vietnam war. Vietnam,
the Golf war, Iraq - all of this is irrelevant to this thread.
Go, feel sorry for yourself on your own.

Keep on the attack and people will continue getting their kicks illuminating your ignorance. I'm sure everyone appreciates your service to Country, but for God's man; it has NOTHING to do with most of the threads you bring it up on... including this one. Most will suffer fools if they aren't too belligerent so you should probably work on reducing your belligerence. You don't realize it; but you're severely overmatched by most of the wits here.

Despite the static, I am still interested about leadership re constituencies, at the same time I wish we could cohere past identity groups.
