I would like to see more concrete data from this cookie survey and see what was considered significant #'s of bad behavior.

My thoughts, in no particular order....

People notice when you crash a Ferrari since it is so expensive, someone acting stupidly and driving their 1994 Honda Civic up on the curb and into a lamp post doesn't make headlines, because, well, who cares about that?

Anyway, if someone has the money to buy a luxury car, and they have an accident, whether it was an avoidable accident or not, is losing their money, not yours, not mine. I don't feel I can make an overall opinion as to whether they "earned" their money or not.

People who rant and say the own Malibu? I had a neighbor who owned the house across the street, who made it his personal business to be the Emperor Of Hether Street. I heard him on more than one occassion proclaim that he personally check out all new families moving in, and gave them warninings as to acceptable behavior. I can vouch for that, because in 1991 he gave me that exact ritual. He's moved, the other day, another former neighbor, who also moved prior to the Emperor, pulled up to my house to catch up on the news. When I mentioned a neighbor, one of the kindest people you'd ever meet in your life, died of cancer, his only response was "Wasn't she a Jew"?

Go to Golden Coral or many other buffet restaurants on free shrimp knight and you'll see plenty of lip smacking, open mouth eating, with nose picking thrown in for free.

Not only the rich suffer from displaced feelings of entitlement either. I see people of every economic status who claim This, That or the Other Disorder, and that is why they can't be depended upon.

Yeah, I know people with money that are total asses. People with posisitons of power, yet can't seem to make it through the day.

I know middle income and low income people who are asses too.

Sometimes it seems people just want to resent someone, something.

The rich/powerful do stupid/outrageous things because they know they can get away with it/aren't empathetic

The poor/powerless do stupid/outrageous things because they don't know any better/have to be educated

Personally, I think someone on food stamps using their stamps to buy garbage that will lead to obesity, diabetes etc. is just as outrageous as a rich person trashing their expensive car.

the food stamp person hasn't ever been told that certain foods aren't healthy Rolling Eyes

the ferrari person doesn't care about anyone but himself Rolling Eyes
