Hooray! Yes to Andre Previn, Kev.

Bree had a tie-in to My Fair Lady and I followed up with Previn. Andre Previn got the Oscar for score adaptation for the movie version of My Fair Lady. Although he is classified as composer and conductor, he also toured the UK with his jazz trio and that is why I said yes to Show Biz.

When you were hesitant Raggedy about "showbiz" I started thinking of "periphery" people like Dick Clark, or Daniel Butler who aren't entertainers as such they are there to PRESENT the entertainment.

This led me to think about music and it's "periphery" people like conductors who aren't there to entertain but who play a role in making sure that the orchestra DO entertain.

Like you I'm a bit unsure of some of the people that can be called showbiz people.

Anyway I wont be around for a good few hours so someone please step in.

Nice to see fealola 's around Very Happy
