Yes, it's Ken Griffey, Jr. I knew you'd pick up on my "stepped up to the plate" hint eventually!

P.S. The Reds are playing an afternoon game today, but as of the 6th inning (which they were in when I checked online a minute ago), he hadn't hit career home run #500 yet.

Oops. Big thunderstorm in progress. Please set mine aside. I am going to log off now. Our power in this borough usually fails at the least sign of rain and this is a big one. Sorry.

Hi OnTheFritz. It's

NOT:
Louis Gossett Jr.?
Lou Grant?
Larry Gelbart?
Linda George?
Lou Gramm?

But, would someone please ask a new round, as we're experiencing thunderstorms here and I'll not be able to follow up on this. Our power was out for 15 minutes as I anticipated. I'm going to turn my computer off until the weather clears. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Dev,

you already asked politician answer no
not artist
not scientist in the conventional sense although he did study a type of science

I think you are due a hint

He spent most of his adult life in Levenworth penitentiary in Kansas from where he had several articles published on his field of expertise.

I thought that Levenworth Kansas might have deflected you from Robert Stroud who was the birdman of Levenworth not alcatraz.

Actually he was incarcerated at both. So, it's not Robert Stroud?! According to the web site he was birdman of Alcatraz too.

It is Robert stroud Dev, he bred birds at Levenworth for many years, but after a 30 year stay there he was moved to alcatraz where the warden wouldn,t let him keep birds.

So says the biography I read anyway.

Take it away Dev.
