yah, well, I don't know who Gene Roddenberry is, or... (laughing, not carping. That is why I like this game. Mostly I know stuff, but there is just enough I don't that it holds my interest.)

Not Spanish.

Back with recap in a minute.

I know what you mean. I could start using up all the questions by asking stupid ones, like listing every country in Europe or is his first name Rupert... I think I'll wait for someone else to pipe in first.

I don't know who Jill Monroe is either. I'll look her up when I need to know if she is alive or not!

Back when I used to play this in the, eek, fifties & sixties, we would guess stuff by asking letters in names... but then, there was no twenty question limit, you could just guess forever, in our particular rules.

osso, Gordon Ramsay is a celebrity chef/restaurateur in London. I thought about identifying him when I posted the guess, but I was afraid everyone would roll their eyes and say, "Puh-leez! Of course we know who Gordon Ramsay is!"

Ahhh. One of the neat things in recent years (I gather, not knowing personally) is how food in England has gotten, not to parse fine hairs on it, better.

Yes, I made that phrase up at the spur of the moment, as I am wont to do.
My dog is shedding his coat, throwing it about, starting, as far as I can see, this very morning.

(Jill Munroe was Farrah Fawcett's character's name on the original Charlie's Angels. Now that's trivia! Very Happy)

Greg Rusedski is a tennis player (typical margo response!) - now calls himself English (English mum), but was originally Canadian. He's famous for his super-powerful serve (but not much other game!)

No idea at all on the question!

Gerhard Richter

If that's right, please continue from "JM". I'm exhausted from the effort of thinking about this, so I'm packing it in for tonight.

Not to worry, osso. When one's day job is as boring as mine is, having something as challenging as your question to think about is a welcome diversion!
