I ordered a Sansa mp3 player from Amazon.com I should have it early next week. What I'd like to know is, I have a couple hundred songs in wav format. Does anyone know if the Sansa will except them?
Thanks for any help!
doesn't appear to
mp3 and wma from what i can see on the sandisk site
This is why I asked:
"Voice recording and programming recorded from the radio are saved in WAV format."
When the player arrives I'll try to add the wav files and see what happens!
lots of freeware programs to convert wav to mp3 if you search
not a bad idea any as mp3 takes up less space than wav
just be sure to save them at a high enough bit rate, most mp3 players need at least 32 kbps
i've downloaded radio files in mp3 at 16 kbps and my player won't accept them

With the Sansa Media Converter, it comes with the installation disk!
Look on page 12 and 13 of the user guide for more information!
