We (in Australia) have no real concept of "cold" I think.

The bus ride into Paris was amazing! So overwhelming for little me Out one window was the EIFFEL TOWER ITSELF, out another was the Arch Du Triomphe, The Seine, Sacre Coeur, La Madeleine... and the architecture was amazing!

A group of us decided to take a walk to the Eiffel Tower which wasn't too far away. We came across an Australian Aboriginal art display in the middle of Paris! With Australian Aboriginals! And we even walked "Australia Road" which was near the tower. The size of the structure is just amazing and the gardens surrounding it are quite beautiful. friend and I were enthralled in an English discussion when a beggar asked us if we spoke English. Nein nein! Keine Englisch! The beggar looked skeptical!

I nearly forgot! (Aussie friend) will kill me if I don't put this in the blog because he is very proud of it! He managed to lose his ticket to get back into the building, we rehearsed a manoeuvre where I slip mine back to him and pulled it off PERFECTLY. Evading French authorities. It was sheer brilliance.

Something lifted my spirits a bit. While I was walking from a bus stop back home (not MY bus-stop, the buses are deviating because of roadworks so I have to walk a rather long way), some young men riding bikes (who were not drunk) told me I looked nice! I told this to my host sister and she told me that her friend would not stop talking about how nice looking I was! And it was concluded that it is the reason why cars beep at me in the morning while I am walking to the bus stop. Apparently according to the French, I look good! :S How bizarre!
