I've been checking on a poem called "The Waltz", which LitFinder attributes to Richard Brinsley Sheridan. Google directs the researcher to Sheridan, and then to several collections of works by Byron all quoting the same lines (I had entered "Baron Trip" Waltz, since Trip was apparently the one who had introduced the waltz to England.)

Now there'd be a subject for someone's PhD dissertation!

Seriously, does anyone know of any definitive proof of authorship of this gem?
