Do students from countries in the EU benefit from reductions in tuition fees when they study in universities in another country of the EU?

To members who live in Europe, would you know by chance what are the average tuition fees per year (depending from which country you are)? I guess they would also depend on which field of study. Are undergraduate programs 4 years long?

EU students fees are set by government whereas non-EU student fees are set by colleges and vary considerably, and are usually MUCH higher.

2 UK universities undergraduate course fees (2007-2008):-

Bournemouth University

EU students £3,070
Non-EU students £7,000 - £8,000

Bristol University (bigger and more prestigious than Bournemouth)

EU students £3,070

Non-EU students:-

Arts-based subjects - £10,200
Science-based subjects - £13,100
Clinical-based subjects - £24,500

Most undergraduate courses are 3 years long in the Uk.
