Now am I reading this wrong?

I read on the Lovatts homepage as follows

FREE GIFT PROMO
To claim your FREE BACK ISSUE, purchase Starhunt #40, Colossus #108 or Cluewords #66. Contained in these magazines you'll find a unique code which you need to enter here in the space provided:

Now I"ve got isue 108 of the Colossus and I can't find anything about it.
Seems there is the same promo goin in The Big and other publications.

Can anyone enlighten me as to where to find this 'code'?

Had a quick look through the colossus 108 here and cannot see any sort of code.
Invisible ink perhaps. LOL :-)

Back Issues in the same Edition I subscribe to would be a waste of time for me as no doubt a lot of others here.
Not exactly what I would describe as a "Free Gift". Reycycle material. ;-)

Some of the others here might be able to shed some light on it for you julksy

Hi julksky

Re free gift promotion, I don't know what the "Free Gift" is but I can give you the details so you can claim yours:

My Cluewords No 66, StarhuntsNo 40 and January Big have the following information printed on the back cover.

"Register for your FREE GIFT online at www.lovatts.com.au & enter this PASSWORD: survpr001" (while stocks last).

The password is the same for all magazines, when you enter it on the form on line you will have to answers a few questions about Lovatts magazines to qualify. Suggest you do it straight away or you may miss out.

Hope this explains it.

I hunted high and low here and could not see anything in Colossus 108 for julksky.

INSIDE of the back cover.

I see it now.

You know I looked at every inch of every page and didn't look inside the back cover?.... Rolling Eyes

My number is different than the one given here tho....It has two extra letters on the end.

( I don't want this back issue for myself. I want to give it to a resident who does crosswords at my work)

Hi julksy

The number in my last posting is different than the number I gave in my first posdting. Colossus 108 has two extra letters "co" on the end of it.

Sent mine in sometime ago but haven't heard anything yet. How do you know you'll get a back issue?

Good question. I guess it's just wait and see if you're lucky.

I don't actually know If my entry went in because I got no conformation screen on the website.

Just opened the back cover. Good grief, it could not be any plainer or clearer. Domestic blindness I think is my problem. heheheheheh

Too much rush, hurry, rush, hurry and no time to stop and smell the roses.

Here was I looking for something small and well hidden. hehehehe

I don't fall into the blonde hair category.

But perhaps it is the grey hairs now. Do they count? :-)

Yes, all up to date, until the next one arrives.
I don't get all the Lovatts Books. Only subscribe to some of them.
Colossus 108 was the final one in this batch.
Good to have a breather for a little while.
Those Sites you gave out plus the other ones mentioned by others have made the research markedly easier.
I wont know what to do with myself now with that extra time on my hands. ;-)

Watch out, hubby will find something to do for you if you're not doing anything! I know I keep myself busy so as not to get sprung for domestic household chores. Laughing

INROADS comes to mind for that one.

Goliath was not in the Colossus 108. You must be working on another Lovatts book.

Thanks Dutchy & EscapePod.
I did have that answer penciled in but I couldn't find it in the dictionary so I was unsure if it was an actual word.

EscapePod....yes....I meant the Goliath in the Feb Big.issue....sorry for the confusion.
