Hello everyone!
Got a quandary. 134a (colleagues) I have the answer 'cohort' but this is a singular answer while the clue is implies plural. Can anyone help me understand why this is so?
Am I wrong in thinking 128d is ghat?
Thanks

Hi catgirl

Both your answers are correct!

My Encarta Concise English Dictionary gives this definition for "Cohort", Group of people, a united group of people. a group of people sharing a common factor.

Trust this explains it for you.

Thanks Dutchy,
All the dictionaries I looked at expressed it in the singular form. Much appreciated. You rock!
