In a New York City park, a woman is conducting a yoga class for people, ................and their canine companions. She claims that it relaxes the animals, and makes them much calmer:

My doggies do push-ups every day. I guess it's not that far to yoga. Though I'm not sure I want Bailey much more relaxed most days. He already falls between the sofa and the sofa cushions when he relaxes. He might disappear completely.

My poodles' health insurance won't pay for yoga sessions. He'll just have to learn how to meditate and relax some other way.

Well, yeah, duh. Dog would probably prefer if the owner would de-stress, buy a house on a lake, and give him lots of neck massages.

But, since I know a lot of people who can't admit that they are stress monkeys (I'm one, but I admit it) -- whatever helps.

I love it!!! "Usually when he's in the park he can't focus". I think the dog just needs a good round of sex, not yoga! Bet he's a leg humper!

I have 3 bassetts and if they were any calmer, they'd stop breathing!
