Help please!
A certain form of a sweetening product derives its name, unappetisingly, from a Portuguese word meaning 'made badly'! What is the nine-letter name of this form of product, as derived from that Portuguese word?
Hi fresco
I think you are correct. Muscovado sugar contains impurities, which I suppose could mean badly made. Many thanks.
From google....."The word has its origin in old Spanish and Portuguese words for "unrefined."
Many thanks fresco. Can you help me on another question?
What is the surname of the European political figure, who is in a lot of trouble at the time of writing this question, and who has, bizarrely, just released his latest album of love songs, entitled (in English) 'Last Love', following his first album, which was entitled 'Better a Song'?
I have tried googling, but so far no luck, still trying. Many Thanks.
Hi fresco
Many, many thanks. I did think of Silvio Berlusconi, but when I googled I couldn't find any mention of him as a singer! I opted for him because I that he would be the maddest of them all!!! Again, thank you.
