The inventor of instant noodles, Momofuku Ando, has died in Japan, aged 96, of a heart attack.
How do you pronounce his first name?
Momafuku. Possibly. Anyway he's dead so dont be disrespectful to instant noodle.
showin some respect here good
Hey, I spent many happy lunch hours ingesting his products. A little respect!

I'm not surprised fed a diet like that
Well, but only because Yomama was his wife's favorite.

Like, noone would have thought of the "Instant noodle" if he didnt? Its not exactly landing a man on the moon. Kluskis predated instant noodles and they are a lot more toothsome. Nobody is stopping to memorealize the Kreator of Kluskis.
He will be remembered, by every student there is and every future
student to come (especially by his first name

)
I heard the sound of tires crunching the gravel on my driveway and glanced up to see the approach of Father Milliagn's car.
I got out of my chair and went outside to greet him.
"What brings you here, Father Milligan?", I asked, and then, in a joking manner, just to give the old priest some gentle ribbing, I continued, "Didn't I put enough money in the collection plate last Sunday?"
It was at that point I knew something was wrong. He didn't even crack a smile at my little joke. Instead he motioned to the rocking chair on my porch and said "You'd better sit down, Gus."
"What is it, Father?", I asked as I eased myself into the chair and gripped the armrests.
"Momofuku Ando is dead."
I stared at him, not believing what I had just heard.
The words came out of my mouth in a whisper, "The guy that invented the instant noodle?"
"Yes, Gus, that is of whom I speak."
At that point we both broke down and found embrace in each other's arms. We cried for a good long time.
It is the end of an era.
Hmm, I think this is what Steve4100 had in mind when he set up
this thread: true emotions coming from those who benefited the
most from Momofuku's glorious invention.
momo-fuk-u , was that really his name ?
i suspect he was just putting one over on us .
